About Biomimicry FE

“Biomimicry for Entrepreneurs” is an online education platforrm project whichis supported by the Ministry of European Union Turkish National Agency under theErasmus + Ka2 Strategic Partnership program. Project coordinator is Consumer andEnvironmental Education Foundation. The local partners of the project are TOBBEconomy and Technology University, Istanbul Sehir University and Mentus Mediacompany. The international partners of the project are Biomimicry Iberia (Spain),Biomimicry Netherlands, Trenddesk (USA) and Mostar (Germany).


Online training contents about the biomimicry discipline were prepared in basicand advanced levels in the scope of innovation insipired by partners’ studies. The mainaim of the content is to improve the innovation capabilities of entrepreneurs operatingin all areas, including in-house entrepreneurs. In addition to the video contents preparedby the experts in their fields, extra resource documents and basic level quiz are appliedto survey the acquired information after each chapter. The system is open access for allentrepreneurs from all over the world and the online participation certificate is createdby the system which successfully completes all contents. System (www.biomimicryfe.org) is under test and development stage. It is planned to be a living platform that iscontinuously developed along with user feedback and content contributions

Event Story of BFE Project

CLOSING MEETING (TURKEY)

 

The closing ceremony will be held in 19-20 April 2018 at İstanbul Şehir University Dragos campus. In the event, all works and experiences will be shared. The panel about biomimicry, entrepreneurship and future trends will be organized.

NETHERLANDS MEETING

 

The meeting was held in 16-17 November 2017 at Wageningen. Current situation and designed context were assessed. The dissemination event was organized.

SPAIN MEETING

 

The meeting was held in 16-17 March 2017 at Madrid. The concepts of the BFE project context were deliberated. In addition, task sharing of the partners were detailed and curriculum was planned. The biomimicry workshop and sharing information events were organized.

KICK OFF MEETING (TURKEY)

 

The opening ceremony of the project was held in 9-10 June 2016 at TOBB Economy and Technology University. General planning of the project, task sharing between partners and application strategies were discussed. The dissemination event was organized open to public.
